Postcards are a marketer's dream. Their compact size makes them ideal for simple, targeted mailings, as well as larger, more full-fledged campaigns. Postcards are inexpensive and highly visible in a mailbox. Mail them or use as handouts or take-ones.
By definition, a "postcard" is a message or advertisement delivered via the U.S Postal Service. And the official definition of a postcard according to the U.S. Postal Service is a single card measuring no smaller than 3.5" x 5.5" and no larger than 4.25" x 6". But these days, almost any card up to 6" x 11" and printed 1-side or 2-side is referred to as a postcard.
